In this setting, breastfeeding mothers explore positive options about breastfeeding, resulting in a pleasant and satisfying breastfeeding experience. A breastfeeding support group is a wonderful way to exchange information and experiences.

Diabetes (Held by SMMC Visiting Nurses)
Our monthly support groups are held at TWO locations and are open to all those who live with diabetes as well as family, friends and caregivers. These Free sessions are to offer you support as well as to keep you updated on the latest treatment available in the management of diabetes.
Second Monday of the month, 6 to 7pm
Location: Richard J. Martin Community Center, Biddeford.
Fourth Monday of the month, 7 to 8pm

Heart Transplant

Group members discuss the transplant process and how that impacts day to day life. Newer members receive information and encouragement from veterans who received hearts as many as twelve years ago. A registered nurse is the group facilitator. For more information call 283-7797.

Mom's Circle Support Group
Fridays, 10am - 12pm; SMMC Classrooms, 2nd Floor
SMMC’s Birthing Suite hosts a weekly Mom's Circle, facilitated by Katherine O'Connor RN, IBCLC. This group allows mothers to meet for support, play dates, friendship and Fun! The group provides mothers with the opportunity to share ideas, vent frustration and compare notes. In this group mothers share their experiences to help other new moms and discuss the normal, and not-so-normal, emotions during their postpartum journey.
